November 02, 2017

In the classic Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis, the most important writer of the 20th century, explores the common ground upon which all of those of Christian faith stand together. Bringing together Lewis’ legendary broadcast talks during World War Two from his three previous books The Case for Christianity, Christian Behavior, and Beyond Personality, Mere Christianity provides an unequaled opportunity for believers and nonbelievers alike to hear this powerful apologetic for the Christian faith.

Humility - Andrew Murray

February 16, 2017

"Humility is to have a blessed home in the Lord, where I can go in and shut the door, and kneel to my Father in secret." Humility is considered one of the best books on this topic. Brief, but powerful, Murray explores this topic through surveying a range of scriptures passages. Murray considers Christ to be the ultimate model as the one who gave up His life, in order to gain life for His people.

Pastor Jarod considers this book to be incredibly powerful and convicting. Wear steel toed shoes when you read this one.
