The 2019 Walk for Life to support the Pregnancy Resource Center of Metro-Richmond is happening May 4th, 2019! Our church is trying to raise as much money as we can to help this outstanding ministry continue to have a lasting impact upon our community.

If you would like to donate or even register to walk, it's not too late! Just go to this website, which is the main hub for this years event, and register or give. Make sure you join the team "Grace Bible Church of Richmond" if you want to help us get credit for raising the most money. (A little friendly competition never hurt anyone.)

Our church really believes that this is important work, and the PRC does it as well as anyone does. Please give to help them grow.

Come join us for a weekend of family fun in the great outdoors. We have some games and activities in the schedule but we will also have some free-time to just be a family and get to know one-another, because that's what camping is all about! It's free to come pitch your tent (or RV. or sleeping bag, if you like bugs to the face), just be sure to sign-up as space is limited. We hope you and your family can join in on this weekend of family!

We are pleased to announce a monthly Men's Prayer Breakfast which we will host at Grace Bible Church. This monthly gathering is open to any man, from any church fellowship, that wishes to gain the benefits of fellowship, camaraderie, and prayer support from like-minded men. It will occur on Saturday morning, once during each month. We will handle cooking the breakfast so all you need to do is show up! The schedule is listed below, so mark your calendar.

Being a man is hard in this day and age, and no one can be a "lone-wolf" Christian. That is why we need to pray for one another through life's challenges and joys. Won't you come, just once a month, to share a little of your life with your brothers in the faith? We will enjoy breakfast at around 8:30am and then a time of discussion and prayer. (Don't worry, we won't take over your entire Saturday.)

Do you have a nagging question about the Bible or about life that you've been wondering over? Bring it and share it and maybe we can discover the answers together. Or maybe we will just have fun talking about it! God made us to need one another. Come and build relationships that will help you walk with Christ as a man of honor and wisdom.

We have a container at the back of the worship room which is available for food items we can take to "Lamb's Basket" food ministry here in Glen Allen. Please bring extra food items from your pantry to help a family in need. This will be a regular part of our church ministry.

Our Men's meeting will begin again on October 12th! After a break that was only meant to be for the summer (sorry guys) we will be meeting again in the middle of the week to encourage and challenge each other to be strong men of manly love and Christ-like behavior in the world.

We will meet on Wednesdays to start, and then we will go back to our Thursday night meeting time. We will continue to meet at 7:00pm until about 9:00pm.

​

This season we will be studying about the names of God. I am excited about this opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of God's nature as revealed in names like "Creator", "The Lord my Provider", "The Lord my Banner", "The Lord my Righteousness", and many others. This study is based on the truth, from John 17:25-26, that Jesus brings us more love and more of himself by revelation of the name of the LORD.

Come and join us for good fellowship and helpful discussion and study. (Men only, 14 years and older.)

Update: New date because of rain is Saturday October 22nd at Grace Bible Church. Everyone welcome of course. Fun for the whole family! Come and join us for an opportunity to fellowship with friendly people in our community. We will have games, good food, face painting, live music, and even a bounce house! Everything is free! We believe part of our responsibility as a church body is to meet the needs of our community. We are hoping to find out how we can serve our local neighbors more effectively.

In addition to this, come and find out about local ministries and how they are meeting needs in our area. We encourage you to come and learn more about these Kingdom building ministries. Perhaps the Lord will lead you to get involved. You might even have a good time and make a new friend!

At Men's Meeting on Thursday nights we are learning about appologetics and how to address the presuppositions that keep people from grasping the truth. The series is called "Ultimate Proof of Creation" and is taught by Dr. Jason Lyle. Come and join us and gain wisdom for proclaiming a truly biblical worldview.
