About us:

Grace Bible Church was founded in 2008 as a means of reaching out to the Richmond area in general and the Mechanicsville area specifically. The Lord has since then moved our church location to Glen Allen, VA but we are still passionate about winning the lost and discipling Believers to walk with Christ day by day. We are seeking to know Christ and and make him known in our community and through out our world. Our statement of faith can be found here, but in general we believe:

  • There is one God, existing in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This God created the world in six literal days according to Genesis and reigns as the supreme Master and Sustainer of all that is.

  • The Bible is God's inerrant Word to man, and every word is "God-breathed" and is "profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness." We accept as cannon all 66 books of the Old and New Testaments.

  • That Jesus Christ is the Father's only begotten son, born of a virgin, existing as both fully God and fully man, the revelation of the Creator to mankind, and that he is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life." He came to earth as a man, died upon the cross, and was raised to life again on the third day as the complete and triumphant Savior of mankind.

  • That trusting in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ as the forgiveness of our sins is the ONLY means of salvation given by God.

  • That the the Body of Christ (i.e. Believers) is and ought to be "salt and light" in a dark and sinful world. We therefore have a responsibility to be holy ambassadors of our heavenly King in our earthly spheres of influence.

Grace Bible Church Vision:

Taken from Col. 1:9-14

We seek to be filled with the true knowledge of His will, resting in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, granted to us through His Word. We seek to walk in a manner that is worthy of the name Jesus Christ, being completely pleasing to our Lord. We desire to be fruitful in every good work in which we are blessed to partake. We seek to increase in deep relationship with our Father in Heaven.

In all things we will seek to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. This will bring us strength, not only to see fruitfulness and impact in our acts of service, but also to endure the trials and challenges that must necessarily come to the children of the Kingdom while in this world.

In every moment we will offer unto the Father our gratefulness for the justification, deliverance, transformation, and redemption which he has granted to us through the blood of his son, the Lord, Jesus Christ.
